PREDIOS is a Ghanaian firm of growing reputation, with a wide range portfolio of projects. The firm was set up and registered in Ghana in 1995 to offer a comprehensive Consultancy service in the complex fields of architecture, engineering and cost management.

PREDIOS is multi-disciplinary, with architects, civil and structural engineers, electrical and mechanical engineers, quantity surveyors in our employ. Additionally, we draw on the expertise of specialists, and advisors in the fields of industry, economics, teaching and research when needed.

Our technically competent personnel enables the firm provides an integrated service from planning through design to project management and maintenance. PREDIOS is committed to executing cost effective design and product management, whilst maintaining our reputation for professional integrity and style of service within the context of the client’s objectives and brief.

KOFI ESSEL-APPIAH

Principal

Kofi Essel-Appiah, the Principal and Founder of PREDIOS, studied architecture at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. Although handicapped by the Portuguese language initially, he strived to learn it and not only did he become proficient but also became the most promising architectural student in his year group, receiving competition awards for his outstanding design input along the way. He graduated with Honors in 1990.

Mr.Essel-Appiah has worked in both the Brazilian and Ghanaian architectural industries for close to a decade and anchors the PREDIOS team with his diverse background and international experience. He has since been dedicated to the propagation of sound architectural design and innovative construction methods in a wide portfolio of projects.

Amongst some of his works are the supervision of the construction of the New Japanese embassy in Ghana, the 4 star Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi, the design of the Law Faculty for the University of Legon, the Master Plan for Central University, the 3000 seater Central University Multi-Purpose Hall the International Central Gospel Church Head Quarters.

Kofi Essel-Appiah is a associate member of the Ghana Institute of Architects and a member of Project Management Institute.
